It is open to all with a special invitation to children and their parents.
This group meets quarterly and offers programming throughout the year. The Mission of the Humanist Team of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the Quad Cities is dedicated to providing a welcoming home for Humanists within the greater Quad Cities. Humanism embraces a progressive philosophy of life without supernaturalism. We provide education opportunities, resources, and support.
Join us for silence, stillness, sitting, walking, breathing, being mindfully present and connected. We meet on Tuesdays from 6-7 p.m. and Saturdays at 9 a.m. Please arrive 5 minutes early and dress comfortably. We share brief readings on mindfulness and we end by jointly wish loving kindness, peace, wellness and happiness to ourselves and others.
