Connection Circles

New "drop-in" Connection Circle

Special Year-long (2015-2016) Group – “Soul Matters”
We are starting a new “drop-in” Connection Circle that will give everyone an opportunity to explore in more depth, Rev. Jay’s Sermon Series Entitled “Soul Matters.” The topics will focus us on a spiritual value that our UU faith has historically honored and emphasized.  Please join us on the following Thursday nights from 6:30-8 p.m.
  • Oct. 1 — “What does it mean to be a people of Invitation?”
  • Oct. 22— “What does it mean to be a people of Letting Go?”
  • Nov. 5 — “What does it mean to be a people of Ancestry?”
  • Dec. 10 — “What does it mean to be a people of Expectation?”
  • Feb.4 — “What does it mean to be a people of Resistance?”
  • March 24 — “What does it mean to be a people of Liberation?”
  • April 14 — “What does it mean to be a people of Creation?”
  • May 12 — “What does it mean to be a people of Blessing?”
  • June 16 — “What does it mean to be a people of Simplicity?”

Eager to make deeper connections with other members of our congregation? Just sign up for a Connection Circle. Some circles are short-term (four to eight weeks); others are ongoing and meet for years. Some focus on a particular topic, such as the Seven Principles, or Simple Living; others discuss a new topic at each meeting.

When Do the Connection Circles Meet? Connection Circles start at various times in the year. Some meet during the day, some in the evening. When new circles are forming, there are usually sign-up sheets in advance in the congregation’s front lobby. Please contact the office if you would like to join a connection circle.

More Information? New circles are well publicized in all of the congregation’s electronic and paper media.
