From Rev. Jay Wolin

I welcome you to our Beloved Community.
As of Aug. 1, 2011, I have been called as the minister of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the Quad Cities. I have been an active Unitarian Universalist for the past 25 years. I graduated with a Masters of Divinity from the Florida Center for Theological Studies. Prior to entering Ministry, I had a successful career in the business world.
My experiences in Unitarian Universalism helped me understand myself, others and the world around me in a deeper way. Unitarian Universalism embraces a pluralistic theology that encourages and welcomes all people to search for meaning using multiple wisdom sources. It is my hope to walk with you on this religious journey as we all continue to build this beloved community together. I welcome all, Members, Friends, and Visitors to meet with me and to share your stories, thoughts, ideas and questions.
My office hours vary, please see the staff page for changes. If these times are not convenient for you, and you would like to meet with me at another time, please contact me to make arrangements. I strongly encourage you to make an appointment so that if I have been called away on a pastoral emergency or if I am meeting with someone else, you will not have to wait unnecessarily. I look forward to meeting with you and sharing your journey with you.
Part of our religious journey is to recognize and share significant life events. I am available to officiate at weddings, memorial services, and child dedications.
The best way to reach me is to set up an appointment by either calling the church 563-359-0816, sending an email to minister@uucqc.org or calling me on my cell phone at (563) 284-2223.
