A Letter from the Board of Trustees to UUCQC Members and Friends regarding recent Board initiatives and the upcoming budget for 2016-2017.

Dear UUCQC Congregants, Members and Friends,
                I expect many of you have heard the somewhat ambiguous curse, “May you live in interesting times.” It reminds us that sometimes interesting can be a dangerous thing.  As Chair of the Board here at the UUCQC, I can tell you that we are, indeed, living in interesting times.  Much is happening at our congregation, and while we look forward to the future with great anticipation and hope, there are also challenges which face us today and tomorrow.   ​Read more... (the full letter will download on your computer)

Congregational Survey Summary February 2016

We gathered information from our congregation via a survey seeking input on the effectiveness of the current two-service model. The survey consisted of:
  • Nine demographic questions (e.g., affiliation with congregation, age, Sunday service attendance, etc.)
  • Three open-ended questions about the respondent’s opinion of the current model
  • An opportunity to provide additional comments/feedback

Our Assignment
In September, 2012, the UUCQC made a shift to a two service model for Sunday Worship as part of our strategic plan to foster growth in both vitality and membership within our congregation.  Concerns for overcrowding in both the sanctuary and the parking lot were also factors which led to this decision.  Periodic assessment and minor modifications have been done since then.
