Social Justice Ministry (Team)

Want to transform your spiritual principles into positive, peaceful action, improving our church, community, and world better and making them more just? Want to advocate civil rights and civil liberties as well as engage in local, national, and international activities that oppose oppression? If you are moved to make this a better world, we invite you to join us in one of our many activities.
The Social Justice Ministry Team approves and monitors all official congregational social justice projects. (Anyone interested in starting a new social justice project should contact the team for information about applying.)

This Team also oversees selection of Sunday's Share the Plate recipients, training of new team members, allocation of team funding, and connection of members (new and old) and guests to social justice activities.
Membership on this team is open to all volunteers. It includes at least one participant from each official Social Justice Project.

- Immigration Project
- Sanctuary Task Force (Part of the Immigration Project)
- LGBTQIA Project
- Community Meal Task Force
- Racial Justice Project
