Youth Religious Education Team

Like working with children and youth?  Want to nurture and stimulate our children’s spiritual and personal growth?  Want build rewarding relationships with children, youth, and other educators?  Want to teach the values that hold us together as Unitarian Universalists while providing our younger congregants with a safe, respectful, accepting environment?  If so, you’ll find this team rewarding.

As a member of the RE Team you’ll help not just oversee Sunday Religious Education classes for all ages (preschool through senior high), but you’ll also work with the Director of Religious Education to plan curricula, multigenerational activities (such as annual camp-out), service projects (such as X-Stream Clean Up, food collection for Second Sunday for Second Baptist, Stocking Stuffers Project and Mitten Tree), and fund raising events (such as Halloween fundraiser to help Guatemalan children go to school).

The Mission of the Youth RE Program is to nurture and stimulate our children’s spiritual and personal growth and to teach and model the values that hold us together as Unitarian Universalists.

More Information?  A “Guest Guide” and a “Parent Guide” are both available on request to provide further information. Email Sarah Moulton, Religious Education Director, at re@uucqc.org, or stop by on Sunday!
