The Seven Principles of Unitarian Universalism
(in simpler language):

1st Principle: We believe that each and every person is important.

2nd Principle: We believe that all people should be treated fairly and kindly.

3rd Principle: We believe that we should accept one another and keep on learning together.

4th Principle: We believe that each person must be free to search for what is true and right in life.

5th Principle: We believe that all persons should have a vote about the things that concern them.

6th Principle: We believe in working for a peaceful, fair, and free world.

7th Principle: We believe in caring for our planet Earth, the home we share with all living things.

Youth Religious Education
Summer Camp

When regular Youth Religious Education classes are not in session during the summer, UU Summer Camp meets during Sunday services. Themes change every year. Preschool through high school aged students are welcome to participate in hands-on activities that often take us outside. No registration necessary; stop by any Sunday in the summer!
Youth Religious Education Team

Like working with children and youth? Want to nurture and stimulate our children’s spiritual and personal growth? Want build rewarding relationships with children, youth, and other educators? Want to teach the values that hold us together as Unitarian Universalists while providing our younger congregants with a safe, respectful, accepting environment? If so, you’ll find this team rewarding.

As a member of the RE Team you’ll help not just oversee Sunday Religious Education classes for all ages (preschool through senior high), but you’ll also work with the Director of Religious Education to plan curricula, multigenerational activities, service projects, and fundraising events.
The Mission of the Youth RE Program is to nurture and stimulate our children’s spiritual and personal growth and to teach and model the values that hold us together as Unitarian Universalists.
